There is a major difference between messing around with civilian women and escorts. It appears that all of Tiger's dalliances were with civilian women, plus I think he told a few of them that he "loved them". How many guys on this Board have ever said "I love you" to an escort?

I thought the rumours of him offering her $60-$80 million to stay was funny. If it was about money to her, divorce would be more profitable.

Look at him: He's not exactly Brad Pitt. He's never had women taking an interest in him, at least not the hotties he's been fucking on the side. He becomes a rich, famous golfer and has tons of hot girls throwing themselves at him. He acquires the confidence to go after these women, and he knows he can get them.

I certainly would. However Tiger's fame and fortune was already well established before he got married. Tiger's mistake wasn't nailing as many women as he could, it was getting married in the first place.

You're absolutely right. So is John Larue is saying Tiger doesn't owe anyone other than his family to make amends, however, he also owes it to himself to get this shit behind him.

His handlers have either done a horrible job, or he's not letting him do their jobs properly. If he is going against their advice, he's an idiot. If they are advising him on this strategy, they're bigger idiots.

I've already stated I've lost respect for him. Not because of the immorality of cheating but because of his arrogant treatment of his fans over the years. I always forgave him because I believed the demands on his time must have been astronomical. I forgave him for not signing autographs or acknowledging fans because I assumed if he had any spare time, he would want to spend it with his family.

But, if he blew off those fans that helped him earn all that money because he was gettin a hummer from the beer cart girl, his fall was well deserved.

At this point in time I really am concerned for their kids.

Breakups are bad even under the best of circumstances and with all of the worldwide attention this is getting the pressure on them must be unbearable.

I'm afraid this is going to get worse before it gets better.

Pressure on them? Isn't the daughter two, and the son an infant? In which case they are totally unware of the pressure, as long as they are getting fed. The son is likely not even aware that he has a Dad, my kids did not really notice me until they were about 18 months old or so.

Are people here really criticizing him like hypocrites? I don't see too much of that, most of the criticism is that he was stupid and did not prepare / cover his tracks well enough, that it not the same as saying he was wrong to fuck them, not too many posters here have said that.

Under Canadian law, alimony is calculated wrt the couple's previous standard of living. So a doctor's wife gets to continue living like a doctor's wife, etc. So a Tiger's wife, etc, etc.
