Aw, that blows. I feel for the rest of the cast and crew that had nothing to do with this whole mess.

The show should be cancelled, replacing characters never works well in TV series... Especially this one, the whole Humour behind Sheen's Character ( playboy with drinking and women issues) is the very fact he was what many believe to be himself.

Yeah, M*A*S*H fell completely apart when Henry, Frank, and Radar left.
Cheers never overcame Woody replacing Coach and Rebecca taking over for Diane.
Mission Impossible did much better once they replaced Steven Hill with Peter Graves.
Curious to see how Charlie reacts.
It's not surprising however if you noticed the episodes over the last year to now have been more and more centered around Allan's character then Charlie's. I think a spin off show could be written around Allan's character, his ex-wife, the mother etc. Let's face it Allan has become more like Charlie in terms of womanizing etc.
To keep the show in its current formatt and replace Charlie Sheen's character with another actor won't work at all they would have a better chance of spinning off the show to focus around Allan and his hot MILF girl friend Courtney Thorne Smith!
