There's a push to keep C Ronaldo from winning the Best Young Player award. The Portuguese player has hummungous talent, ManU would be insane to release him. Bastien Schweinsteiger is a month younger than Ronaldo, it will be interesting to see who the better player is in 5 years.

VIVA ITALIA!!!I personally would have loved to see Italy vs Protugual for the Finals. I think Italy is the stronger, more organized team. The REF'S get to play god though...So I just hope we get fair calls from them, for both teams.

Its now official, Podolski has won the 'Best Young Player award', FIFA has said Ronaldo's antics played a big part in the voting process

It's not yet official, but Roberto Baggio may become managing director of Juventus. Not sure why he'd want the job; the previous regime deemed him expendable at the end of the 1995 season. They used the money they saved to buy Zidane instead.
