The actions and behaviours of these "university" students were appalling. Being a university student and a young person, they should be more educated than this and more liberal and understanding in their views of racism. Having been to Italy a couple of times, I personally had not experienced this type of overt racism myself.

They look like “mean girls” who would bully other girls to assert their social standing. No doubt they mocked less pretty and popular girls.

To me, the Parkistani film director who filmed this video and who was the subject of this racist activity along with her bf and his mom -- Mahnoor Euceph is a lot more prettier than these 3 mean girls.

Apparently "nihao" means "hello" in Chinese.

It's truly amazing and inspiring to know that teens clowning on someone's language and accent is an example of blatant racism that they've never experienced until adulthood. It means that society has come a long way.

It's akin to a fat kid growing up never being ridiculed for being fat.

I think people are taking this way over what really happened. Just young girls having fun, laughing and enjoying life. Was is it right to make fun using that asian hello word. Maybe not but come on this is nothing.
