Where did the time go? He had 40 years and it's been 40 years. Well he changed the world in some ways with his 40. Used them well.

Hard to believe it's been 40 years. I was just a kid when it happened, but I remember it well.

I was home from school the next morning with a bad cold, and I remember my mother explaining what had happened and watching TV and seeing how upset and angry everyone was. What I actually remember most was being confused as to why someone would kill him, seemingly for no reason.

Oddly, if there was a defining moment when I realized the world wasn't always a kind place, it was probably that day.

Yeah, I heard it on Radio Luxemburg and I thought, "hmmm". Then I went back to my Latin homework.

Ditto...he did nothing but good for humanity, money & fame never changed him

One of the guys my dad golfed with son in law was a guard at Attica & remembers taking Chapman out for his 15 minutes of free time in the outdoor area of the prison & always joked if by accident he put him inside gp he'd be dead quicker than you could blink
