ISO: clubs in Chicago

Hello, I am heading to Chicago next week.
Wondering if anyone know of any good clubs to check out.
I have never been there before.

I am staying at the Omni (I guess it's downtown). Don't really want to travel to far away and would prefer something close maybe walking distance if possible.

Any help is appreciated.

I was in Chicago a few years ago, I did my research, and the conclusion was, don't even bother. As far as I could determine, it has a very anti-sex, anti-hobby outlook.

Several years ago, I went to Crazy Horse Too in Chicago.

Had to drive through some pretty rough housing projects to get there.

The dancers were OK-looking, but the lap dances were pretty lame.

They were pretty much air dances, with minimal touching permitted.

The dances were done at your table; I didn't see any VIP room.

Crazy Horse Too Chicago has since closed. They were also part of a mob investigation by the US feds; celebrities such as George Clooney, Joe Pesci, and Robert De Niro were somehow involved.

The place is still a strip joint, but it's under new management, and renamed VIPs Chicago:

Depends on what kind of club your looking for. If your looking to just drink and hear some tunes go to Legends "Buddy Guys" place. House of Blues,Dicks Last Resort,and any blues bar on Halsted Street. Strip cubs would be Heavenly Bodies, Black jacks, and i cant remember the name of the other one but they are located off of 294 which is the tri state tollway and Halsted. Listen to the Score 670 am they are always advertising the specials at those places. If you are looking for casino action go to Indiana.

If you're going to a strip club in Chicago, don't forget - g-strings and no liquor are the law.

Good choice. All with decent food.

HOB with good Creole food. Jambalaya, Gumbo, blacken catfish, etc.
