An interesting story was floated by me today by a friend. It seems in a recent interview (I didn't happen to hear about this one) Knicks Isaiah Thomas blamed the fans for the Knicks poor performance this year.

Did anybody else hear about this?

I heard of him saying it but not in an interview.

Evidently in a recent game as the Knicks were losing again (surprise, surprise) and the fans were all over Thomas, he started giving it back to the them and blamed them, saying that his team has no "sixth man" helping them, no support from the crowd. Afterwards some lady within earshot repeated it back to some media person.

It's a case of she said he said.

I also heard that MSG will give out warnings to anyone who hurls obscenities to the Knicks' bench. And the second time they get thrown out.
Geez, im not sure the answer to having a crappy team and coach is to punish the fans more. Isiah's one of the biggest idiots in basketball...im glad he's getting his just desserts in the basement.

Isiah is such a total ass, a great player, but a 100% screaming failure as an executive. Yet people keep hiring him.

True it's a "he said, she said", but, when Isaiah was asked about the incident, he didn't deny it. Read the link I posted above.

As a player, he was great, as a GM/Coach he is useless. Good luck New York, He left your beloved Knicks with Untradable talent.
