Last week I booked an hour with one of the gals at Misty's Bachelorettes in Kitchener. I called to confirm 30 minutes before my appintment saying that I would be there for my hour and all was fine. When I got there, a woman whom I would think is Misty answered the door and informed me that she has double booked the one I am to see. She goes on to say that I can stay for 30 minutes versus the hour. Well, at $120 for the hour versus $100 for the half, I said no. There wasn't even an apology for the occurance, which really burned my ass. How does a place stay in business when doing this sort of thing or was this just an isolated incident?

I went there this week. I am surprised its still in the same location it has been like 3 years ago. 2 women working an older one 35 (so I Was told) and a younger one 23. I was allowed to come in and see each before I made my choice. I stayed the hour had a nice GFE. I was happy and satisfied. I guess sometimes things just happen. You get good and bad times I suppose.
Never had a problem with this issue at this particular incall... been there about a dozen times. Had problems with incorrect physical descriptions over the phone when compared to reality... but no overbooking issues.
With most incall places that run solely out of the newspaper... they do over book sometimes 3x4 too.. only because you can book every single person that calls and out of 4 1 might show up so it is hard to know. So maybe a rare occasion or very common with some.. take your chances.

I agree, I ran an incall service for eight years and that is so true... you can book three or four all for the same time and usually one would show, sometimes clients don't call to cancel they just don't show. i was there a few times..and was invited in to have a drink...while my buddy was doing his thing..lol

as for overbooking, yeah i can see that...while htere it was like a meat market..get in get out...get lost...that was the attitude. my buddy pd for the hour..and even htough blew in 20 min..was rushed out the door...

My experience at Misty's has she has been reliable. It has happened once when I was asked if I would accept a half hour over and hour....and I did. It's a bit of q dilemma as Debb says...if everybody showed up when they book, then there wouldn't be any problems.
Since it was 120 for the hour, maybe you should have been offerred 30 minutes for 60 bucks. At least that would have been something for a situation that was clearly their fault.
I called Misty's once, set up an app't, I went to the Food Basics as I was told to call and get directions...............I sat at the phone for half an hour, phoning every 3 or 4 minutes..............no answer, no app't............I won't go there again.
Though there was a double booking, it would have been courteous to explain the situation to the second person as he was the last to book. Instead, the oversight was placed on me. One would think that booking one hour ahead and then confirming 30 minutes before would have instilled some confidence that everything was legitimate. Because it was earlier in the evening, couldn't Misty have just scheduled the other guy's appointment later? I wish it was an isolated incident but it seems that it happens more times than not. That's really too bad because it affects the ladies that work there. Mind you, maybe in the end they are further ahead.
