I started buying my ink from 123inkcartridges.ca over a year ago and pay less than 1/4 of what the 'real' ink costs. I haven't had any problems so far and will never buy the ripoff manufacturer's ink again
Thats how I do it too

I've used both inkjet and laser printers and MUCH prefer the laser kind. Then again, I don't need to print in colour. A couple of months ago I had to get a new printer since my old HP one didn't have Windows 7 compatibility and those assholes at HP had no plans to make a new driver. Ended up trashing the thing and picked up a Samsung laser printer for less than the cost of a new HP printer cartridge. That's the last time HP gets any of my business.

I bought a color laser Okidata for $125 new... with 500 sheet toners for all the colours. Pretty good printer I am pretty happy with it.
