Lets think about this.

Is it irrational to believe Hilary could bring in more votes than any other VP candidate?

Is it irrational to believe that McCain is gaining ground and could use the power of a heavyweight to hold the lead?

Is it irrational to believe that the party has suffered some damage in the last 2 days and once again could use a heavyweight to bolster support?

Is it irrational to believe that there are some major Dem power brokers who would like to see Hilary as VP?

Is it rational to think that someone other than Hilary could stand with BO at the podium at the convention and generate more excitement than these 2 could?

Frankly, I have no idea. Just a few random thoughts.
But I wouldn't write her off quite yet.

It's rational to recognize that as far as the possibility of Hillary being the VP choice, well, the train has already left the station. Plus, she doesn't want it. She's counting on Obama to lose to give her a shot in 2012.

Are you sure about that? Why would everyone else think Obama's going to win, and she thinks he's going to lose?

OTB and Asterix sure get higher post counts when they talk about their sexy woman, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Face it, she's smarter than O-dumb-ba. But Oh-dumb-ba is going to be the next President, like it or not. McCain actually reads OTB's posts and news articles when doing his speeches.

And Elizabeth Edwards is a fat ass. She had no excuses to marry sexy and hot, then turn into this fat, massive, beech ball later on. I recall many Warner Brother Porky Pig cartoons where Porky married this hot hog, then she got fat eating chocolates, and Porky wanted out.

No doubt 'bout that. John Edwards had to get stroked and he couldn't just go to a sauna to do it....so he chose this Jerry Springer guest.

I would think the most frightening post to date for Obama fans would be gyaos predicting he's going to win.....

Independent Centrist. Remember OTB, Adam Smith was wrong in his analysis. And Asterix, Hillary won the popular vote. She got more votes than Obama. She got more votes than McCain.

Isn't it obvious though, Obama vs the teleprompter opponent?

Gyaos ... Trying to rewrite history ... Hilary didn't end up beating Obama with the popular vote ... it was close but she lost.
Better look at the results of your link again. Include Michigan (the one below the yellow popular vote) and Clinton wins. Obviously she really wins with Florida included too. Those votes count, especially MI because John Edwards, the wife cheater, was NOT on the ballot. Ah, neither was Obama.

Here, I'll paste it for you:

Popular Vote (w/MI)** 17,535,458 Clinton +286,687 +0.8%

So bbking, you have to face history before defining it. The Japanese might change the text books, but that doesn't stop me from getting the alpha girl as my wife. Every vote counts.

The only one rewriting history his you ... the Primaries are ruled by the Party rules ... that vote ended up split by the Party to reflect that Obama didn't campaign there. It's over, she lost, in every way that counts ... can't rewrite rules to suit you. bbk
Cry all you want. She won the popular vote like Al Gore.
