Is it better to be "dumb" or "misguided"?

That's a whole load of choices Goober. I don't know how a person would ever decide. For what it's worth I think dumb is forever but misguided is something you can recover from.

Okay, I have to admit, "an acquaintance of mine" is actually the cow farker, yychobbyist.

And the context to the question is that Goober is apparently telling anyone who will listen that I am dumb. He then reconsidered and let me know I was misguided. I believe misguided is better than dumb.
