Sexual real anything is always an issue. I think the debate is more from the fact that most people lie about sex to t least some other people. There was a documentary about sex work a few years back and the girls I had been with lied to the camera - or at least went against our own experience together (maybe in their minds I was not part of the job and ti was a unique aberration, But as one girl pointed out her parents would be watching it so she edited her experiences to match what she thought her parents could handle.
Sex is not the only topic that people alter the truth about but it is near the top of the list. And sexual ignorance does come into play as well. This is not the only factor of course but a major one.
