I see them all over this board and the idea of booking a cheap hotel room for myself or passing the site on to friends is appealing but only if it's not TGTBT and a total scam of some sort.

So the question would be has anyone used Copycraigs and what was it like?

Worked perfectly for me.

CC arranged nine nights at a 4-star for $100/night all-in versus the hotel's online rate of $265 + taxes for the same dates. The whole transaction was completed within 15 minutes of my request.

Saved me a bundle and I'll definitely use the service again.

He offers nothing you can't find for yourself on Priceline or expedia and costs more.

way out in left field
I just have to say: the service has the ODDEST name I have ever come across for any type of service lol.....

Kind of like if an escort's "pro" name was Importcarsaregreat.com lol.....You'd think if someone had something to do with booking hotel rooms the word "hotel" would appear somewhere? lol.....

Expedia is only slightly cheaper than the hotel website rate.

You can get some real good deals on Priceline. The problem with Priceline is that you don't know what you will get if you name your own price.
With copycraigs you can choose. I still don't know how he does it.

copycraigs, tell us how you do it!

+1 for that Meister...

I've used Expedia, Travelocity etc, and they suck as far as I'm concerned...

I don't know how he does it either, and I don't care. He provides a necessary service and does it well! And I will continue to use it whenever I can.

He even recently found me an AWESOME deal on a room in a city not usually covered by his normal range of service.

Thanks for the response everyone. Will keep Copycraigs in mind next time I need a hotel room :)

Oh and Ms. Moon I did use the search function and honestly only came up with CC's announcements.

Just for fun Rono, try finding a rate of US$90 tax inc for a 100% guarantee booking @ The Sheraton Centre On Monday September 21, 2009.

Get back if you find it, your hotel next hotel room will be on me if you do

http://www.sheratontoronto.com/
Regular price = CDN$303 tax inc

Thanks to everyone who has used the service!

Priceline, put a bid of $60 U.S. 4 star and you'll get Sheraton sometimes and other times other great hotels downtown.
