The low wage TFW brings a massive amount of low skilled people.
I think we should terminate that program and instead focus on highly skilled immigrants.
Raising wages will help employ Canadians.
Right now businesses are misusing the program.
First, let's just say this: Anyone who does this shit should be convicted and sentenced to prison. And, because he's an "international" student, he should be deported. But, this is just another example of folks looking to slam an entire group of people due to the horrible actions of one person. It's not like white Canadians have never sexually assaulted women before while pretending to be a ride-share driver. And it isn't like every Indian man comes here thinking he can rape as many women as he wants. There are always the bad apples in any group. Not all Italians were in the mob, not all Irish support the IRA, not all muslims are terrorists...
I think some people are missing the point. It is not immigration itself that is the problem. It is MASS immigration without vetting.
Bring people with degrees or those who want to get an education and work in fields that need employment. Regulate properly with limiting annual numbers.
And disperse people across the country. Do not settle everyone is just one of two places. We have an entire country. Not just Vancouver and Toronto.
Sadly that is not happening though.
This story is not about immigrants being criminals. Anyone can be a criminal and there are plenty of white rapists. And to be honest, this thread should be about the sexual assault which is being ignored in favour of another political debate on immigration but if we are going to talk immigration instead, then let’s address the actual issue. Not racist rhetoric or naive woke-ism.

Rehab the drugged out Canadians, cut off those that are able bodied on welfare, close down the tent encampments and force these people to work which might reduce the need for immigration to the extent that the Canada has done recently. There is a negative birthrate without immigration. Canada is not an attractive place anymore for the kind of immigrants that you are requesting for many reasons.
Ironic considering 90% of the people I see begging off the 401 strung out on hard drugs are white Canadians.

Well, the whole purpose of starting this thread was because he was an immigrant. lol
it's magnified because of the current political climate. but that's what the liberals and conservatives have been running on. the international student problem has become an issue because this administration basically made it so easy to become an international studen compared to 10 years ago. you have 30k, you can get in...one issue is, some don't really have 30k. they loan it with the hope they get to stay here, become an immigrant (they were actually guaranteed according to some reports by the agencies that assisted or processed their application) now because of threat of deportation, going back to the country and owing 30k, can you imagine how bad it's gonna be? The international student program was a disaster because of it.
