I think it’s awesome we are focusing on the positives. Even if you’re not a healthcare provider you can do your part in helping deal with this mess for most they would be with social isolation. There are intitiaves now for people to donate masks cleaning equipment gloves to health care workers as there is a serious shortage. Giving blood is always a good thing. But again more importantly the best way to help is to not get the damn thing and spread it.
Also it’s nice healthcare workers are getting a lot of appreciation but what they are doing is nothing new really it’s their job and many were making similar sacrifices daily in the past and will continue to do so in the future so lets remember that.

The results came out Negative?????!!I think I mentioned no negativity on here but I'll stoop to your level for 1 quick minute to clarify a few things...
Yes we have all been tested most of the health care providers are rapidly being tested.
I was available for 2 days before I shut it down like most. I spent my time with less then 3 gents over that 2 days. I didn't need to announce I am in lockdown like everyone as truely it's no ones business.
And if you keep doing your reading you will see that the 1 gent whom was aggressive has now apologized and we are on the same page. I give him alot of credit to step up and say something.
I didn't start this thread for praises. I started it for positive feedback. Anyone getting up and helping right now is to be praised.
Now back to positive Sofia, who I hate coming out of my character lol....
I will absolutely start blogging once there's time. We arrived late and its quit busy.
Emerg Dept is quit full with alot of scared individuals ( which I totally understand) but now is the time to only go to hospital if needed.
They arent the healthiest environment on a regular a anyways. For now ICU has a few cases all older.
We will see what the week enfolds.
Also to the Blood Donation you guys are totally right I said it in my last thread. I donated last week. We are in major shortage so if you can do it.
Also my neighbors at home have been checking on the older ones doing groceries which is super awesome aswell.
It's just the little things in life that matter sometimes let's all do just a little something being Positive is the first

You are totally right all healthcare workers take that job because they want to help others it's just a normal thing for them. Police, paramedics,firefighters,volunteers you name it I'm sure they enjoy helping others in general.

It's all good Sir I respect the fact we cleared the air and are both on the same teamHi nurse. I am one of those who crapped on you for working last week. So I have to say what you are doing has really warmed my heart. Congratulations. I live with two nurses, one of who works with the vulnerable elderly without masks. The other had to take swabs of everyone entering the hospital. Fortunately, she had PPE. So I know what you will be going through and I commend you heartedly for your selflessness. Please keep us updated. Looking forward to getting together when things get back to normal
It's great you live with 2 caregivers I'm sure you are well taken care of. Question, how is the one that volunteers with elderly finding it right now? Is their place on lockdown? I personally think all Old Age Homes should have been locked from weeks ago.
Also, I bet the one swabbing is exhausted it's tiring for them.
I am absolutely going to blog it as seems like some are interested to hear from inside.
I look forward to meeting when we are all back to normal hopefully sooner then later

Anyone who has met Sofia knows what is she is doing is genuine and admirable.
On top of the I'd reckon that she is on of the kindest people you can meet. Being a nurse requires one to be selfless and always giving.
There is a very good reason she was voted #1 on TERB multiple years in a row.

Anyone who knows me knows what I do. It's no secret lol. I absolutely luv being a nurse that's what I went to school for almost 5 yrs. 4 Nursing 1 yr Surgical. Some miserable people or just plain SP haters dont realize that alot of us have careers or go to school beside this hobby.

yes, I gave blood today & reached out to several folks I know who are house bound. We chatted over the phone for long chats & offered to get groceries in the future if they need help.

Just curious Sophia as to how you are doing? I trust you are well and are taking care of your mental health. I worry about all the selfless ones putting their health at risk, and from what I’m reading most are ignoring the non physical aspects of their health. Please remember to eat, breathe and have a good cry every now and then. Stay safe
