Dhaba, on King West south side, just west of John, near the Holiday Inn. It's on the second floor. Great at lunch time. Satisfies vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Haven't been there at dinner time.

the host in richmond hill has a very good buffet. I believe they have a location in Yorkville.
Also Babur on Queen Street is very good.

one stretch on Queen West ...

.... a block west of Osgoode Station has 4 practically within 50 metres of each other. 2 I have tried are Little India and India Palace. If you want a massage you're in luck too. Jun Jun clinic is biz that separates the two. I'd give Little India the edge as the butter chicken is amazing and the staff are super friendly. Only problem is it's lunch (11:30 to 3:30) only. But at $8.95 you'll feel like got the deal of the century. I have not tried the other 2 further west though.

The Elm Street Bar in the Delta Chelsea has an Indian buffet between 11:30 and 2 pm on weekdays. It's good but is pretty tame in terms of spice if that's what you're looking for.
