I just realized the ad states "Upscale Spa", but at the end it states: "Must have transportation or a driver, Uber, taxi, etc".

Seems at cross purposes, no?

when all of this settles down I also have a list i have been keeping track of. This list includes SPAs, SPs and indepdent MAs.
Please don't PM me asking for the list. At the moment you should just stay away from them all and keep social distance. The list will be provided after all of this settles down. I just watched something on Global News and we could be talking months.

Other possible impact:

TERB and Pinky mods may get the notion to "turn off" their forums, soon, too. Why would they? Dunno, EXACTLY, but it could be rationalized the same as turning off LeoList.

There is no need to criticize massage scene or ma rates in Ottawa. We are all different but we are also the same horny men :)

BTW both ALO and CMJ shut down their operations today. I am not a healthcare expert but I would suggest the MAs , receptionists and clients participated during this time to practice #SocialDistancing for two weeks after their last session.
Agreed, there's a time and place for rates discussion. Now is not the time to be petty.

Good to know that all major spas are closed now.

Terb should do the right thing and temporarily suspend all SP and spa ads that offer services during this time. This will turn into a public health crisis if we all don’t comply. I appreciate that is is a business, but this crisis is affecting many other businesses as well.

I wonder where the girls who are still posting on LL hosting these days? Their own private places and/or AirBnB?

Major hotel chains have already laid off a lot of staff so if these girls continue to rent rooms there, they will stick out like a sore thumb.

At the risk of derailing, but as a sort of aside: I was watching AMC TV channel tonight and noticed (at least) Burger King and Hotels.com running specifically COVID-19-related ads. Hotels.com (with the "Captain Obvious" guy) specifically saying to "Stay Home". That's a BIG friggin' deal considering how they're backed by the entire hotel/airline/car rental industry!!!

So ... use the services of your Internet Provider appropriately (be it Porn sites, CAM sites, whatever). We all know the urge we're satisfying is built-in to our animal selves, and we want warm bodies to play with but ... we live in a time where we can at the very least satisfy the common male need for visual stimulation. Take advantage!!!

Just browsed LL for the first time in a week. The ads are just brutal. I see every single one is a respirator taken that someone else more deserving will be denied. Sorry.
true but i'll go one step further and it could be more than one respirator considering how quickly this thing is spreading

let's not forget that people are also fighting cancer and other things through all of this.

By the time this is all over and done with we all will know at least one person who tested positive. If you are lucky you won't know anyone that died but it doesn't mean someone you know won't be affected with someone they lose.

as of now - 2000 cases in Canada, so its past real
Remember that this is only who tested positive so far because we dont have enough tests to provide everyone suspected of having it. It also and takes several days to complete the test. The numbers drastically go up daily not because of new cases but because of more testing available.

The scary number is if I am remembering correctly over 8000 tests waiting for results ( correct me if I'm wrong). You can bet that most of those are positive because they are only testing people that they are showing major signs

Test results take 5-6 days so the daily updated numbers we are seeing for positive results not only here but around the world are pretty much outdated. This means the death ratios or percentages of deaths we are seeing are very inaccurate since the covid fatality numbers are actual, from the previous 24 hours. With 8500 results to come and only having tested those who were already sick or at very high risk of being sick doesn't paint the full picture of what the current infected numbers actually are.

Two days ago Ottawa's top medical professionals estimated there were currently 4 000 infected people is Ottawa. Today alone that number is higher and in five days from now they estimated there will be 16 000 infected people in Ottawa. People who are infected are infecting others every single day. I can't imagine what the numbers for Ottawa will be in a month from now or in two months from now. Anyone thinking it can't get much worse had better hold on. We are months behind other infected regions of the world so this bumpy ride is only beginning.

there is a new test available that can give you results within hours. that should help a lot assuming the US shares it...and assuming it isn't any less accurate.

i'm not shocked LCBO is still open. It's like i said a few days ago Ford will ensure people can get their beer during this crisis.

I only drink socially so it will be a while before i have another drop of alcohol

It is also the great molifier used by governments to keep the masses tipsy/drunk and, therefore, happy and at home (see communist Russia).

And a new TERB section for social distancing services. Good idea actually.
