Thanks all for your late suggestions and offers. I ended up having to go out to get food, and went for the closest decent shawarma in my 'hood.

Gen...if I may suggest, keeping a few cans of soup (pea soup, cream of mushroom, etc) and some frozen bagels can never hurt. Also, Ryvita's are great standbys (last nearly forever on a shelf), have lots of fiber, low calories and go with almost everything...my fave being honey and/or peanut better.
