It's fun to think about what the clubs could actually be. On top of many of the suggestions here, I think I would concentrate on giving more freedom to the ladies who work there, instead of trying to control them.
I would allow women with all sort of body types to work. Tall, short, skinny, curvy, various races, looks, etc. Thinking all men like only one type of women (a.k.a. the barbie type) is ridiculous. Some girls are told they can't work in a certain club anymore until they loose weight, even though they have built a faithful clientele who obviously don't find them overweight.
Hire a female DJ. Let the strippers choose any style of songs they want to dance to. They'll feel more comfortable on stage.
Let them wear the clothes they want. If a girl wants to work in jeans shorts and a t-shirt, let her (some guys actually find it hot). If she wants to work fully naked, let her. Don't force them to wear high stilettos if they want to work in running shoes. (although it would be OK to expect them to put on shoes with a hard sole because of the occasional broken glass). Don't worry, most will still wear sexy clothes and stilettos because of the nature of the job, but they won't be forced to.
Make sure none of the staff is trying to abuse them. I've heard stories of staff members with the power to fire them, who would demand sexual favors from strippers. Instead of putting cameras in the CR, put them in the bouncer's and manager's offices.
Here's an idea. I've always felt uneasy about the DJ fee, but what if it was being used differently? What if they keep it, but they reward the serious and hard working strippers by making it possible to reduce it or remove it completely? As a stripper, if you book your shift at least 3 days in advance, you get a 20% DJ fee discount for that shift. If you book at least 7 days in advance, that discount goes up to 40%. Then, for every stage show (of 3 dances each) done during that shift, you can remove another 20%. If a girl books a week in advance and does 3 stages per shift, she won't have to pay anything at all. If it's a slow day, she can still go home even. This approach still leaves the possibility to just show up that day, but the incentive encourages advance booking. A side effect is that it would also permits having an updated schedule on a website, like what they have on most of the MP websites. This, in turn, would increase the number of regulars for the early booking girls, which will certainly be noticed by the others and encourage them to do the same. Also, if a girl is too busy doing CR dances, she can just pay the DJ to avoid doing her stage but will be making enough money in the CR anyways to compensate. If a girl isn't as popular in the CR, at least, she won't have to pay the DJ fee because she'll have plenty of time to dance on stage instead.
Also, a good club owner should regularly ask the strippers what they want/need. In fact I would be curious to hear what strippers have to say. Are there any ladies on here with current or past experience stripping that would like to chip in?
