Sounds like you expect them to be rentals at first. Probably so, because they won't be affordable. But the price will eventually drop, and every bachelor will then have one.Not gonna lie, I'd try it once just to see what it's like.

I wonder if the Terbites of the future (if this site still exists) will still complain that their virtual SP was too mechanical, robotic, didn't look like the pics, etc?Looking and sounding real is not enough. It's got to feel real too. And once it does, society will fail to function properly. Many women will be without options, and the technology will likely get banned by the powers that be (which could very well be mostly women).
I'm pretty sure the hologram programmers will be greedy and charge you extra if you want whatever adjustments on your women (e.g. bigger butts, breasts, different skin color, give deep throat, etc...). Then there will quickly be some novice programmers who will write their own add-ons that will allow you to modify the women yourself without going back to the retailers.I wonder if the Terbites of the future (if this site still exists) will still complain that their virtual SP was too mechanical, robotic, didn't look like the pics, etc?
They would probably do something like a season pass in video games where you buy a package of add-ons. The catch is you don't know what you're getting until you fork over the money. Or they would have a subscription model.I'm pretty sure the hologram programmers will be greedy and charge you extra if you want whatever adjustments on your women (e.g. bigger butts, breasts, different skin color, etc...). A hologram woman that expires??? Or one that won't do anal unless buy more credit? Damn, this is not sounding so good anymore. I only thought of the technological potential, which can certainly give us everything we want after a one-time purchase. I didn't consider the human factor of the retailers taking advantage of our immense hunger and milking us of all our money on a regular basis so that we can continue to fulfill our growing addiction to it.They would probably do something like a season pass in video games where you buy a package of add-ons. If capitalism still exists in the far future, then this scenario is a possibility. Then again, the Star Trek future is supposed to be utopia where money doesn't exist and you can replicate anything out of thin air. Yet aliens still use money for some reason?A hologram woman that expires??? Or one that won't do anal unless buy more credit? Damn, this is not sounding so good anymore. tests hsve shown animals starve to death Using a pure pleasure version of the technology. They don't eat real food anymoreAlthough not identical, this same sort of thing might not be too far away with neurolink. If a computer can stimulate your brain to make you see certain things, feel certain things and experience certain things, and they figure out how to do it safely and reliably and cheaply....that's going to be a potent addiction. It'll be like dreaming, except you control what you see and experience, and it's far more powerful. And while many people will say now that there's no way they'd adopt that, my guess is it'll be difficult to resist. You can create your ideal life -- wife, kids, career, fame, adventure -- and make it feel like the real thing while you're in there, without any of the limitations, or risk, of real life.
Yup. Speaks to just how powerful it is. It basically hijacks our survival instincts by giving us those dopamine effect hits without any of the instinctual causes.tests hsve shown animals starve to death Using a pure pleasure version of the technology. They don't eat real food anymore
Absolutely, it's a double-edged neural sword! The prospect of rewriting our neurological narratives opens doors to incredible advancements, from conquering health challenges to reshaping how we perceive reality. Navigating this brave new world will require a delicate dance between caution and innovation.Yup. Speaks to just how powerful it is. It'll be extremely dangerous technology, but there's also all kinds of benefits as well, like a paraplegic learning to walk again, negating the effects of Alzheimer's, healing depression and anxiety, applications in education (think the training sims in the Matrix). It's really a bold new world, rife with dangers and virtues.
