I'd prefer San Jose. The NHL's youngest team has excellent NHL ready under 25's and also has a plethora of AHL talent and quite a stockpile of draftpicks for such a successful team.

Shit- I left off San Jose... if the Sharks are your pick, then just post so.

San Jose has my vote for reasons above.

I'd love to see him go to Montreal, he's the big first line centre they need, put him with Kovalev. That's a young talented team lacking his size.

I would also vote San Jose for a current roster / minor league players + draft picks but would not oppose if he went to Colorado for roster player + draft picks because it looks like future draft picks would be in the top 10.....

Colorado is getting too old and looks like they are on a decline. Might be able to swing a good deal with them (steal lots of minor league talent plus draft picks) if Colorado is bordering on a playoff spot. The Avalance have to go for it now with Sakic / Smyth and others getting on in age.

I don't care where he goes other than to the team thats willing to give them the best young players/draft options.

Wow I must be way off, I heard reference to this today from another friend. I was sure he signed a multi year last season?

In realistic terms this would be the rank of which team could or would trade and it would improve their respective team:

1. Calgary
2. San Jose
3. Montreal
4. Dallas
5. Minnesota
6. Pittsburgh

Notice that Detroit and Ottawa are NOT on that list...

Ottawa.

That was be hilarious. Sundin joins Alfredsson as the Senators also sign Forsberg, and march very Swedelike to the Stanley Cup. As all Leaf fans slit their wrists and cry out "THE HORROR Oh God THE HORROR".

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha:D

the Sens are at 47.8 Million in a 48 Mil cap space NHL... how the hell would they fit them?

sundin takes up more cap space than any forward on the sens lineup.

Could Sundin help Montreal?

After last night's (February 5) 4-3 win over Ottawa, I'm not sure that Sundin could help the first line. Kovalev, Kostitzyn and Plakanecs really seem to have a great chemistry together. He could definitely be added to any other line.

Listening to TSN, it appears that the Canadiens are the fastest team ib the East and one of the most highly skilled. Sundin wouldn't be used to playing in that kind of environment in the NHL.
