C02 is vital for much of life on earth; grade 6 biology will teach that. Some of the comments here are too bizarre to analyse, and not worth while. But I just can not let that stupid one regarding putting a plastic bag over your head go to waste. It is the effect of cutting off the oxygen supply, among other reasons, that kills the aerobic organism. My gawd, is this the state of intelligence out there pushing AGW.

Are you telling me you also don't think CO2 is a pollutant or dangerous to humans?

One of your problems stems from your loose use of language. You have not defined pollutant. Generally, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide, for example, are considered pollutants, but regarding what? I am sure you are aware of the fact that there are many organisms which thrive in the presence of sulfur, and would die instantly if exposed to oxygen. Sulfur is not a pollutant for these creatures, yet oxygen is. Skill testing question, if oxygen goes above a certain level in the atmosphere, will it become a pollutant re: humans? What concentration might that be? Is it proper to talk of oxygen as a pollutant? Potential pollutant? Should we ban any equipment that does/might add to the concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere? Further, the whole issue of pollutants has been politicized, and you seem to have fallen for it. Yes, certain legislation has listed C02 as a pollutant, but this is not a scientific reality. It is man made political science, (worse yet politically correct science) and, as such, nonsense. Do yourself a favor and try to think more critically and stop falling for the tripe the politicians are trying to shove down your throat. Are you not tired of being played for an useful idiot? See Stalin on this.

CO2 at about 14% is deadly.
Yet the deniers are here trying to claim that CO2 is healthy.
CO2 atmospheric levels are small, but no smaller than it would be for a person swallowing an aspirin or cyanide.

The issue with CO2 is that doubling pre-industrial levels may be enough to take the planet to a thermal maximum, while taking it out of the atmosphere would result in an ice age.
Deniers like yourself seem to think that just because CO2 is good for plants that therefore there is no unsafe level for the planet in the atmosphere.

As for critical thinking:
Stop acting as a useful idiot for the oil industry.

Water is critical for human survival.
Have any of you deniers heard of hyponatremia.
(Of course not, but I can hear you googling it right now)
