No issues for me. It's not like we have to provide our real name, address, phone number and Social Security number, it's just for them to have a way to reach us in case of problems. They can have my hobbying email address, no issues there: it's not traceable to my real life person. And for phone number, I have a virtual number that can't be traced back to me either.
Please guys, don't give bogus info when they ask you this, no matter if it's a restaurant or a massage parlor. Bogus info is worst than no info since it waste time when trying to contact numbers/emails that don't exist.
Where I live, they got an outbreak in a bar that started with about a dozen people and, the more it goes, the more they find infected people related to that single incident. People were drunk and nobody can remember who they saw and the bar didn't bother with contact tracing.
The only way Public Health figures out the link is when the people get tested and say they were at that bar. Before the time the clients got infected and the time they got tested, they had time to infect more people.
If the bar believed in contact tracing, they could have reached all clients that were there during the same period and it would have minimized the second level contamination.
If the need is and you're really worried spreading personal info all over the place, create an email address called something like "
covid19scares@mydomain.com" and ensure you check it regularly, hoping it will be empty then, when that shit is over, delete the account.
