IBM Cutting Jobs?

How many jobs are they cutting? How many here in Ontario and Canada?

I remember during the recession of 2008 companies left and right were giving exact numbers on how many they were laying off and where.IBM said "no thank you" about releasing those numbers.Media pushed back and IBM basically told them to go fuck their hands. International Business machines.Kicking it old school since the 1880's

Would not surprise me. They missed their touted performance targets, and of course that means something must be done to make bonus targets. These days, with typical management thinking that usually means something short-sighted. Let's fire off the people that really know how our stuff works, and see how long it takes customers to figure that out.

I'm in a management position, but not at IBM, so can gripe about short-sighted management.
