I witnessed a scam, I am reporting from your shoes

I was invited on an overnight date. Prebooked and prearranged.

After arrival I found out my date was with his two friends who also invited their own girls (last minute).

It started well, everyone was vibing. Just conversation and music playing etc. The other two girls were waiting for their etransfers to arrive, I guess it took 30mins.

During that 30mins they added each other on instagram and snapchat and were discussing their mutual friends.

I'm already the odd man out cause I'm grown and don't care for that stuff

Anyways their etransfers arrive and we all go our own separate ways with our dates. Then I hear commotion downstairs and my dates phone started ringing.

The two girls ran out together and left. They were literally paid an overnight rate and left 10minutes after the etransfer was deposited. I'm sure they planned it during that waiting period.

Pretty disgusted and in a state of shock. Is this really how it is out there.

I'm sure her date was appreciative of the fact that she stayed. Sucks for the other two, but at least he chose correctly. Hope it didn't put too much of a damper on his date.

They got a full nights pay for 10 minutes and didn't even have to fuck, I say they are far from dumb... scum sure, but not dumb.

If the hobby was fully legal the dudes would have some recourse unless they were married.

That's why cash is king. Okay, e-tranfer them 10- 20% of the total fee for them to be there and when date is done they get the rest by cash (or e-transfer). I wouldn't pay all up front especially someone I've never seen before. That's usually a disaster waiting to happen.

Actually, you could because it is theft. Most guys won't because of their SO's, the notoriety of making the news or their jobs, etc. These types of scammers know this too which makes scamming guys easier.

They can find them by their social media and give a bad review.

I thought there was a way to hold the e-transfer?

The problem with that is when a guy won’t pay at the end and the girl it’s screwed. Which will happen as well.

Cash on the table, counted at the beginning and left there until the end is what I personally prefer. I hate EMT. It’s a scam waiting to happen for either end of the hobby

I still wouldn't do it that way because these 2 SPs could make an excuse to go to the bathroom or get a glass of water, grab their clothes and if the cash is on the table they'll grab it and be gone.
On a slight variation of what i said previously, If paying by EMT then 10-20% to them, then show them the cash they'll receive once the appointment is done and not before. Most guys are reputable, the same with SPs. The sad part are those few guys & SPs that cast a bad shadow on everything.

Either way works but cash is king. EMT's, I'll never do it even if it means missing out on seeing someone.

I hear you. I do but I would never do an overnight if payment was like that. And the same could still be said for the guy grabbing it at any point and not handing it over.

In all cases, someone has to give over some level of trust.

Yes, her son is a huge Raptors fan. So, I gave her Rap tickets in lieu of cash.

Don't tell anybody. I get some Raptor tickets for free at work. So, that time I got basically a freebie.

Another time an SW asked me if I could get Leaf tickets when the Habs are in town. Yes, I could but that is another story.
