Rob Ford seems like a fun guy to have a drink with, it's quite comical how much worldwide media attention this guy gets, he can never catch a break. Everything he does is a scandal, I hope this guy stays in office for at least another 10 years.

Are there any upcoming events in the city where Rob Ford will be attending? I want to shake his hand for a job well done.

Why not just troll around Jane & Finch or Dixon & Islington after 1 AM ? If you love crack addicts - you will feel right at home with more heros to worship. Besides, I'm sure you will eventually meet with Ford if crack dealers are your mutual friends.

Really? Is that what you believe? Is it just bad luck or is he a shit-magnet?

He's supposed to be attending a thing I'm going to on Wednesday night. If he shows up, I'll be happy to buy him some Remy

Ya he seems like a regular guy who likes to have a few pops now and then. Would love to hear the stories from his angle on the press and everyday shenanigans from city hall. Cant say that about most politicans who seem a bit "uptight" and cant really allow the hair down so-to-speak.

Agreed, it's funny how his approval rating jumped 5% after his latest scandal. The more the Liberal media tries to bring him down, the more popular he becomes, quite ironic. Maybe if Rob Ford wasted money like a Liberal, they'd admire him a bit more.

The Toronto Sun Liberal ???? - try some other feeble label for thinking people who support don't idolize social misfits & losers. I know he is the rallying cry for similar misfits and people who can never feel comfortable in social environments. It is either a lack of intellect that they cannot grasp Rob Ford is constantly making his supporters stupid because they believe his lies so easily or they are the most gullible people in the world.

How many times can Ford supporters be proven so obviously wrong before it dawns on them that they are propping up a drunken coke head with anger issues ??? I am feeling sorry for them - being a Ford supporter now is similar to Ford's drug addiction - they can't break the habit.

Just shows you how a "junkie" mayor who less than half of the city of toronto thinks is up to no good...does way better at his job than the past admin...when haters hate you...they neglect to see what you've done good for the city...show the video where he "allegedly" smoke crack and get this done with already...

So much anger and prejudice.....why would you be so angry on what others might or might not support? Your kind of mentality has always amazed me. I see it too often "agree with my viewpoint/stance or else you are a looser who is uneducated poor excuse for a human being" Wow....start to look at the entire picture and take off your self imposed blinders. If you happen to like the colour black does that give me license to call you an anti-social deviant who lacks proper life skills?
Dont support Mayor Ford if you choose.....again I wont judge you on YOUR choice.....

I love when a Liberal gets angry and resorts to ad hominem attacks. "You support Rob Ford? Well then you're a stupid crack addicted dick face!! Only the truly educated and elite of society know that Rob Ford is a dum dum, if you don't think so too you must also be a dum dum!"

Even though I am not from Toronto, crack or no crack he's still much better mayor then David Miller was in my opinion. Having a conservative mayor will do only good for the city, quite honestly why does it matter what he does in his past time? If he smokes crack, or gets pissed drunk, invite escorts over as long as it doesn't affect the policy making people really should mind their own business.

Christopher Hume wrote this article in The Star today, explaining why Rob Ford continues to have so much support among the electorate:
http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/201...ok_undergirds_ford_nations_support_hume.html#

Ford's focus on Ford Nation, working to maintain that support in the hopes of being re-elected, does nothing to speak to the concerns of the balance of the voters, and, in fact, the entire GTA. Ford's poor behaviour and apology for getting caught have become international news. When business development departments are on an international trade mission, trying to attract business to the GTA, the rest of the world thinks that Ford is the GTA mayor - a serious negative made stronger by jokes from the likes of Howard Stern and late night guys like Leno, plus Maher ( Ford's contributions to Toronto's economy - crack addict 'blowjobs for a buck'.)

When is this sideshow going to end ?

I keep laughing at the Tim Hortons cup in his Taste of the Danforth debacle pics - there's no way that cup was just filled with coffee :)

What an elitist piece of read. I just love all the hate, sometimes I feel like the paper is going to combust when I pick up Toronto Star in the morning. Yeah, that's what businesses look at when they decide to invest, late night TV, that's what apparently drives market forces.

Rob Ford likes football. I saw him a year ago at a football practice at Don Bosco High School. He was watching the football practice and he lives near that area. he is not that hard to find if you like football. Any big Toronto event he will be there also.
