I went in the mid-morning, thinking that with the heavy rain and most people at work there would be small crowds. My observations:

Traffic was strong and steady.

Everyone was voting as a democrat (I risked dry-heaving myself by declaring myself a D)

They were letting anyone vote - even those who had not registered, those without ID..... the phrase from those working the polls was "everyone should get to vote"

The process was very inefficient, all paper based, comical almost, depressing absolutely.

Used an electronic voting machine - super easy and obvious. It printed a paper receipt (again comical).

That's one vote for Obama......

Is it really? I would have expected Hillary since almost no one thinks she has a shot against McCain.
I've been rooting for Obama all along. While I think McCain can (but may not) beat either of them I think Hillary is a bitch and don't want to have to endure an entire election about her non-existent experience and what a bitch she is.

If it's Obama then the election will be about his complete lack of experience and issues - which will be a nice change.

I voted too. Probably shouldn't have since I'm a Canuck but I wanted to see what voting 19 times on the electronic machines would do to the results.

You have what it takes to be a Chicago democrat.

I think a more pertinent question would be are there enough conservative disgruntled old men who think she is a bitch, willing to vote for Obama in primaries like Ohio since the Republican race is over. Guess we'll find out.

With a 49% negatives and Obama winning 11 in a row there must be a few of us sensible people out there.

And hey, mid 40s isn't old.......

Perhaps Rush is king in Ohio....

There were concerns that Republican voters would participate in large numbers in the Democratic primaries in Ohio and Texas Tuesday and cause mischief, following a call by Rush Limbaugh for listeners to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Early exit polling shows 10 percent of the voters in Ohio's Democratic Primary identified themselves as Republican, along with 22 percent who said they were independents. It was the same story in Texas: 10 percent of the voters in the Democratic primary identified themselves as Republican, along with 25 percent who said they were independents.

Up by 20 points with nearly !/4 of Ohio reporting. Surprised if they don't call it for her anytime now.
