Discreet Dolls

I thought grass fed cows were free range

There's a huge difference in how dairy cows are treated too. Some are chained up in little stalls their whole lives and then discarded with the garbage to rot out back when they die or they aren't making enough milk to deem them worth feeding anymore.

Then there's these high tech places that are like dairy cow palaces lol. They walk up when they feel like it and get milked.

Its hard work and I wouldn't want to do it but seeing what happens in person and reaching out and touching the cows while they're chained up in a barn and knowing they'll live and die in those stalls really had me choked up.

I might raise some cows in a few years but I would want to make sure they were treated well while they were alive if they're giving us food.

Im probably going to get attached to all the animals even though they're food 😅

They say raw milk (non pasteurized) is way healthier for you, but its illegal here.

Why do we drink milk from another species of animal? If we're meant to drink milk, we'd still be sucking on our Mama's titties?
I stopped years ago when a friend suggested it. I haven't missed it since but I have noticed my nails are not as weak, stronger bones (in fact, I do feel physically better for it), no calcium deficiencies.

Makes zero logical sense to be drinking it and there are health studies that show it having no real benefit.
The studies and government health suggestions to drink it are funded by the dairy industry (of course) which in turn are subsidized by the government.
When I learned about "somatic cell count", the legal amount of puss and blood allowed to be in milk for consumption, that did it for me.
Breast cancer, prostate cancer?
Increased risk of hip fractures?

It's hard to let go of the brain washing we were exposed to as children and the whole "Got Milk?" campaign, but again, the logic is there.
We're not baby cows, no need for it.

It's not good for you lol. Cow milk was made for cows to consume.

It's only illegal if you sell or distribute it. You can drink it if you obtain it yourself. Similar to selling sex for money.
