Aka…. I REFUSE to meet with the girl who won’t return my call and has got a restraining order against me if I try to contact her.
But I will gladly date her friends. Please? Anyone?
AKA- The guy who claims to be in charge refuses to meet with us - He dismisses us as fringe and insults us via the CBC
Can we please speak with his boss?- ie the majority in parliament
Thank you

This will be a test of the NDP - do they represent the people in their ridings or ae they content to be Justin's lapdogs ?

Looks like the protesters don't want to meet Trudeau anyway:

In an 'emergency' press conference, the truckers' new spokesperson Tom Marazzo says: "I'm willing to sit at a table with the conservatives and the NDP and the Bloc, as a coalition. I'll sit with the governor general."

public relations 101…… when a significant portion of Canadians suspect you are part of an extremist fringe capable of criminal acts (right or wrong) refrain from using gun calibre analogies, especially in reference to a specific person, in this case our Prime Minister. Related: avoid other expressions like “cutting the head off a snake”, “blowing up” anything, “killing” etc…….

are There mandates against PR people because they need that more than anything else. I’m not kidding, they are not doing themselves any favours with amateur hour “press” conferences

It's no secret that I dislike Justin, but the man is missing opportunity after opportunity to diffuse this and come out hero at the other end. Even propel himself and his party to majority.
I am not sure I agree with you on this.
I think it is more likely that the Conservatives are losing support in the general population.
In Canada Governments are decided by elections. There was one not very long ago, why did people not vote the Conservatives into power then.

Not to mention the slow boil of investigations into US interference.

Do you believe the Governor general should dismiss the Trudeau Government?
If the other parties request this, absolutely
Independently? no the Govern general is not elected

Until I saw what they asked for I had no real expectation this protect would remove the moron
Its still a long shot, however I hope Justin is wearing depends when someone explains the possible scenario to him
I am pretty sure they will need to explain it to him three times before he clues in

Justin Trudeau paints himself into another corner

Ring, Ring:
Hello Gerald, its Justin, ... I have done it again...... Help?

I am happy you are willing to wait for a non confidence motion in Parliament.

Please tell your friends about this procedure.

Sure if you read nothing but the Star and the Globe. But, this is much bigger- not the protests by themselves- but the general state of the nation; the inflation, the daily increases in the gas prices, the hate of the mandates, the insecurity and confusion. The protests are only the tip of the iceberg. A little reconciliation, a bit of solidarity with the people after two years of absolute fucking shit show would go a long, long way. Instead, he's an elitist caricature, a laughing stock of the planet, invisible and uncaring.

Well, if its not about the vaccine mandate and about all those other issues they should just go home and wait for the next election.

Why do you insist on misrepresenting me?
I never said anything about waiting

The timing is completely up to parliament
Thursday will do
Next week, not quite as good,
Getting rid of this divisive moron can never happen soon enough however I do understand there are some logistical challenges in Ottawa currently

On a more serious note how is all this going to be resolved? The protest can't go forever and covid-19 isn't going to go away.

Heard a guy on the CB yesterday talking about the "occupation" of Ottawa.
Couple of things he said.
"They don't represent me or any other drivers I know, real truckers drive their trucks, they don't park them and blow their horns like preschool kids."
"Ottawa spent 3 million dollars in policing over 6 days, an F18 costs $25,000 an hour to fly."
"AGM-65 maverick missiles are $100,000 each and an F18 can carry 4."
"For less than $500,000 the streets could have been cleared day one."
"They don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves, why should i give half a fuck about them?"

The ideal resolution: drop vaccine requirements fro trucker, reduce some other federal requirements (e.g., vaccine and test requirements for Canadians returning to Canada), replace JT with more capable leader of Liberal party. Win-win foe everyone, including Liberals (except the Trudeau of course)

Yeah, JC. All that long list of stuff you list would be fixed in 15 minutes if Justin met with a dozen carefully pre-selected and pre-rehearsed far right bozos who'd use the meeting as a photo op and call him an asshole.

That's exactly what Canada needs for sure.

I'm curious why the Tories aren't mingling and glad-handing with the fake truckers anymore. Think the polling is swinging against the fake truckers KKKonvoy and the Tory bozos are drawing away?

Or wait another week when the wave is done and everything is opened up.
Then they'll just more look like morons honking their horns and shitting everywhere.

And here is another example (in blue) of how many radical lefties like to misrepresent things and label everything they do not like as racists. Nice way to unite the country.

Oh c'mon!

I'm sure Tamara Lich would take the "KKKonvoy" pun as a compliment to her deeply-held beliefs on the Far Right of the rightie wacko-sphere.

yes, madrill, show your "wow" face. I am sure you can find lots of evidence that Freedom Convoy is against blacks. Or does you KKK meant something different?

The convoy has united Ottawa.
https://ottawa.ctvnews.ca/majority-...e-freedom-convoy-protest-poll-finds-1.5771778
" The poll, conducted and paid for by Ottawa-based polling firm Abacus Data and obtained by CTV News, found two-thirds of respondents are opposed to the convoy and 22 per cent support it."
" Even 46 per cent of respondents who said they support the convoy agreed that it's time for protesters to leave."

66% vs 22%. You are really stretching the definition of "unity" especially if you take into account that government-supported Canadian media paints a negative portrait of this protest, so, a large portion of these 66% who did not go to the downtown themselves are influenced by the media.
