I was wrong, Mitcham died of complications with lung cancer due to heavy smoking. It was William Holden that died locked in his house but the LE found it suspicious buy later the coroner ruled it to be self inflicted and accidental.William Holden also, in a drunken stupor, slipped on a rug hit head on night stand , lost consciousness , found 4 days later.
It does not appear to be foul play, he could have slipped in his attempt to get into the dumpster enclosure and went head first into the pavement or struck his head on the metal dumpster, or he could have fallen down long before he got to the dumpster. It would have been difficult for one or more people to throw the body over the fence, and have it be in the posture I saw. If the police thought there was some possibility of foul play, most likely they would have stayed at the scene for more than two hours.
