found the password.

I did a search on the net for the filename/password and up came a web address that they use. I seems that certain files are encoded with the web address of the host. I didn't notice the host address when I was downloading the torrent file so it was difficult finding the password.

After all this, the blade movie was dubbed in German without any subtitles! I'm such a looser!!

All part of the learning process? So I keep telling myself.

Eschort, thanks for all your help. I just downloaded BitComet and it's cool. Winrar does a nice job of expanding the rar files as well.

first, it is an mpeg file that is rar'ed. you need to unrar the file for WMP.

You can play rar'ed files without unrar the files in VideoLan VLC media player. google that and install it.

try the password of the torrent site. www.torrestsite.org or whatever it is. Also try a password of the releasing group combined with the file name. POT.BladeII.CD1

if that doesn't work, it usually does, search the forums on the torrent site for the password. You're not the only one with the problem.
Since where in the thread did Eschort tell you to try the password of the website you downloaded from ? or search the web ?

Flyer, you live & learn , I downloaded some mandarin movies the first time.
(And I dont speak mandarin)
A lot of torrents will have a little info scribbled next to it that says what language it is. If it says ESP that means Espanola so dont download it.

Also Flyer, almost all torrents come with a .nfo file or something like it.
It's usually only a few kilobytes so download it first and then right click the file and open it with wordpad.
It will tell you what language it is and other details

Sorry bro, I was distracted by the cool porn torrent sites. Thanks to all the dudes that helped me out with this. Especially you joebear. (I mean it!)

I'm still amazed at the diverse collection of intellegent people on TERB. A great resource for anything and everything.
