Hello all.
I recently split up with my partner and I now need to come up with a new name for my company. I do construction and custom home renovations.
I came up with names like Onyx construction but anything I came up with was already taken.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
Thanks

More importantly, get a name that works well with either .com or .ca.

You can also use your real name, like John Holmes Renos.

IMO The name itself doesn't matter. Its what you do with it.

When they first named their companies:

Google did not mean search
Yahoo did not mean internet stuff
Amazon did not mean Books,
Tide did not mean clean clothes
Oscar Meyer did not mean hot dogs.

I could go on.

But through delivering consistent results and lots of branding activity (everything Google does is branded Google), the company names became synonymous with what they do.

So pick a name, any name, preferrably catchy and preferrably short (4 of the 5 examples are ONE WORD NAMES). DinoStollino is a GREAT name IMO. Your work makes the brand, not the other way round.

Yahoo may not mean internet, but all the above names have in common:
- they are short
- they are easy to pronounce and possibly spell
- they do somewhat refer to the product

Dinostollino is none of those.
