When you fall down you pick your self back up and move on and don't look back .

Goober fucked up and made a mistake that cost him a friendship.
He learned his lesson and will not make the same mistake
The person probably reads TERB and has gotten his apology.
If not, then he was writing to help him get closure and release his feelings.

Looks like the new member & poster has been banned & posts removed. They restarted several posts from 5-16yrs old. I had them on ignore as several posts I had followed years ago that all of a sudden came back to life.
