This guy is a gooddamned rock star.

And of course this ad just decimates McCain with his own words:

Lets see in about 6 months to a year. I take the wait and see approach.

Not meant to be an insult to you or any supporters of Obama but i see way too many folks buying in to him because the glitz and smoothness. I hope he is all the things he projects. See you in about a year. Enjoy your commentary.

You're not insulting me, don't worry. I think the guy is a once-in-a-lifetime candidate who has run a smart and ethical campaign and has already given America a reason to hope again. If you think he's shallow and glitzy, that's cool with me. I consider him a person of depth and substance.

I think it's a profound moment that a black man is about to become president, and it turns out it's not because of his skin colour but because of his character. If you're not moved by that, what would move you? ;)

That doesn't mean he won't be judged on day one in January. In fact, he'll be under even more scrutiny because of all the "hype" (or excitement, or both).

I see him as a slick salesman, or a preacher, promising everything people want to hear. He is a smart guy, and an excellent speaker for sure. Both candidates are good this election, and whoever wins it will be good that Bush is gone. Looking forward to election day, should be interesting.

LOL, you don't even realize that McCain is Bush dressed up in a war hero costume? Good candidate? He's a senile nutbar who chose a national security risk as a VP. Even the GOP supporters are wringing their hands.

It was a slick piece of propaganda from the master of slickness.

It will sway people who vote with their heart and not their head. Anyone with any common sense and a basic grasp of economics will realize that all those campaign promises are mathematically impossible.

It’s just more lie-beral BS to get elected and once in, it will be forgotten about.

McCain has the deck stacked against him in this election being in the same party as Bush, and with the economy going the way it is.

I like that McCain is willing to do away with the pork barrel spending, among other things. The Idea that people must be paid off in order to vote for something breeds corruption. Things like this are not what many people what to hear, but they are the right things to do. Obama has said nothing that is unpopular, but is the right thing to do for the country.

This election is much more interesting then the last, and both McCain and Obama are excellent candidates.

I think McCain is a stand-up guy, smart and on point to this day. However his selection of Palin as running mate ended any chance I'd endorse his ticket.

But if that McCain wins and then dies, Palin will sure give it her best shot :p

very sharp ad, great campaign, policies sound good, I just don't see how they can afford them, but i think it is time for all governments to come together for the common good of the people and put partisanship aside.

Deep Thought

Obama can go on TV for 30 minutes and not mention John McCain even once.

No way would the reverse ever be true.
