Of course there is a risk of infection....there is a risk even if you DON'T have an open wound in your mouth......and since you do, the risk is even higher than normal.

Did the dentist tell you to rinse with salt water? You should be doing that 2 or 3 times a day....

I'd say after 5 days you should be ok but mouth wounds take longer to heal so if you want to be safe, wait at least a week....and as for licking, the same applies....If your BF can't wait a week for a bj then find yourself another BF......

I remember when I had my wisdom teeth out 2 years ago it was soft foods and lots of liquids.

i also has my fangs removed as well so I have been threw the teeth being extracted twice already now I have 28 teeth.
