Why was the Pink Panther and the Decetive movies of the same name linked?

Just from memory (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the Pink Panther was the name of a diamond that was stolen in the first picture. Inspector Clouseau was the bumbling detective on the case. The cartoon opening and closing credits was good enough to continue making separately, and an animated TV series was born.

I find painting very relaxing, as long as I can take my time with the prep. Get good paint and don't rush the prep and cutting in. Plus the cleanup is so much easier now compared to the old oil-based stuff.
