I found a dish

Satelite zapping

I was thinking about getting satelite but I've been told and did a little research on my own and found that Bell XPressVu has launched a change in their systems so one by one, everyone who are getting a signal via "coolsat, viewsat, pansat, etc" will no longer be able to receive their programs this year. It is underway throughout the year. Dishnet is said to follow.

The one with "internet auto programming" really sucks in quality...some may say it's crap.

Just a warning for anyone whose thinking about getting satelite. If there are any developments please let us know.

I moved recently. I started off with Expressvu by calling them one Sat AM and asking them to disconnect me as of mm/dd because I was fed up with being connected to India everytime I called customer service. That gets me transferred to Customer RETENTION. That gets me 12 free months of PVR rental, and 12 months of 30% off programming. Moral of the story is if you are with them already always start off by saying that you are cancelling.

Off course if I ever need help I will still get connected to the accented foreigners in India who cannot speak English but that is no different than having a conversation with Lancslad.

Oh yeah and movers automatically get a new dish installed for free at their new house. Bell wants the old one left behind to encourage the new occupants to buy.
