I find it to be a little insulting that a criminal lawyer is allowed to advertise on this forum, as if we (the members) are somehow more likely than other demographics of the population to be law breaking criminals.

I suspect, although do not know for sure, that most of us who are able to afford to hobby regularly tend to be the white collar crowd, not the construction worker/ heavy drinker types that the lawyer should be advertising to.

This statement makes no sense on so many levels, but you are right, no white collar guy has ever committed a crime and we should just jail all blue collar / construction worker / heavy drinker types.

Why would you feel insulted?

Her specialty and therefore her services are pertinent to the hobby. Her advice is given freely and more to it, it is sage advice that applies not just to the hobby. She adds good insight to the topics she responds to as well.

If you feel as if your feelings have been hurt because of this, I say lobby the Libs, who will add this to the Human Rights Code, making this punishable in some way.

Maybe she is the one that can speak with authority about Bill C36 here, and I think we should welcome her to the board.

She offers her service to all who partake in this hobby, either it is the Johns or the sex workers themselves. It costs her money to advertise, the last thing she wants to do is insult anyone, but to offer legal service for a fee.

The ad may mean a payday of $300-$400/hour per case. I know a guy that got nabbed and when the lawyer was all finished he got a bill of $8000. It was a very simple case with two sit downs, case preparation and filing fees, court time and traveling time.
