The famous one is at Coney Island but I didn't try one when I was there. Was in Myrtle Beach in the fall before all this craziness. There's a NATHANS HOTDOGS place there so we tried it as they are well known in the US. Terrible !!! IMHO It lacked any flavour, very bland.
Never even heard of this before. Just looked it up.When I have a BBQ I sous vide cook the hot dogs.
Sorry, I had the wurst headache last night and it knocked me out....Andouille continue making puns all night?
I think it has something to do with condoms. You what??? what does this even mean?

Sous vide cooking is a method where you put the food in a vacuum bag and cook it in warm water to a perfect temperature, once the steak gets to the right temperature it can sit for one or two hours. When you are ready to serve the food you can sear it quickly. What you get is a perfectly cooked tender steak. With hot dogs at a BBQ you are sure to have fully cooked hot dogs that have a quick sear and not a hot dog that is under cooked with a tough skin.Never even heard of this before. Just looked it up.
How long do you do this for?
To cook hot dogs about 20-30 minutes in 180 f. water, then you can keep the individual packs ( 6 per pack ) in the waster for up to 2 hours before you give it a quick sear over the charcoal.
Knocked ya right back onto your buns...Sorry, I had the wurst headache last night and it knocked me out....
