This lockdown is growing on me. I am beginning to like it.

It takes me back to my childhood in the old country. We grow our own food, prepare our own food, and like a uneventful life. I get along very well
with my cat and my SO, who is baking up a storm. It is actually quite nice. Simple pleasures.

I'm good too. I'm a home cooker, SO is great(and also baking as well as making ice cream).

The back patio is in great shape.

I do miss my social but that's about to open up with my patio. Starting some small visits today. No more than a couple at a time. But outside and they get a seperate bathroom.

I'm fortunate to still have a two income household.

Reminds me of growing up in rural Quebec. It's amazing now to think of life without the Internet. Yes, we had electricity and the telephone.
We also shot and ate wild game without fear of a virus killing us.

I can't speak of 'life in the old country' because I grew up in the city. But with a big yard/garden. There is just something about growing your vegetables, cooking your meals, maybe even baking your own bread.

I like a somewhat quiet and simple life so I've been okay too. :)

Working from home has been fine, I am getting so much reading done, learning new things (mostly focused on language learning), the only thing I miss is a trip to the barber and will have to try to figure out how to make the best of a home gym eventually.

Hate going in stores. Love the lockdown. Home delivery from my favourite winery . Clerks at Home hardware bring the crap I need , out to the car. They load the heavy stuff . 7 a.m, grocery shopping once every two weeks is like a dead zone . Amazon shopping . Drive buy preordered dinners from upscale restaurants. Pot shops on Tyendinaga Reserve remain open . Local microbrewery is still brewing and selling the good stuff . Still kayaking , riding my horse and motorbike . Things need to remain this way. Life is good. Well. Actually it’s BETTER. Lol

I was an unemployed germaphobe who hates crowds going into this....so not a difficult transition.

I miss the cash flow
I miss the bars
I miss the restaurants

but it is what it is and we must make the best of it.

even with working reduced hours, I like working remotely from home, the quiet streets and cleaner air. Don't miss the bar scene at all.

I must say I have to this date squandered the opportunity to improve myself. I came off 4 really hard years with no time off being in tough jobs I hated, and losing big money in some investments with no vacation, so I'm kind of using the time as a mental break. I'm almost ready to start being productive again.

I've been working from home for four years now, that's nothing new. I talked to my barber, I don't mind being bald but have no use for the gray hair on the sides.

The air is so clean that you can see Venus and now Mars clearly in the night sky. 9:30pm they are directly due west from my balcony, Venus is the brightest light you see and Mars is south right. Not a chance of seeing Mars when air traffic is going on.

I missed out on going to Big Cat Rescue when I visited the Jays Spring training, it's a priority once we can travel again.

Have not stopped working. We are short staffed because of this so as much overtime as you want. Personally I do very little unless it is a major emergency.

I love the quiet.

No unbelievably noisey airplanes. They were so irritating flying in and out of the city all day long.

Also, it is very enjoyable to drive around with little traffic.

There are so many things I miss doing, but yet so many things I enjoy doing, miss going to the gym, miss shopping, I miss socializing and going to restaurants, rooftops, and lounges, I also miss dating and the random fun.
Love being home and actually have my parents and family staying with me until this is over, love the eating which I am doing a lot more of along with the drinking almost out of wine, and just opened up my pool this week so it will be a lot of suntanning in the forseeable future by the pool with the family, drinking Sangria's, where in previous years I'd be lucky if I had 3 get togethers at my house over the summer.
I love the empty highways and roads and take long drives all the time specially with the nicer weather sunroof back, music blasting love the drives to nowhere and back home.

Glad to know I’m not the only one. I was feeling a bit guilty as I was thinking there must be people suffering from this crisis. This epidemic has been pretty fortuitous for me. I’m making a lot of money and I like the laidbackness of it all.

GTA & Thereabouts...
I'm saving lots of money. I'm growing my hockey flow (but no hockey)... My kid likes my version of a true breakfast sandwich. It's not that bad.
