My point is that some people consider who they are based on more than their citizenship and passport.They don't call themselves Israelis , they call themselves palestinians and prefer to be called palestinian citizens of Israel.
The Roma consider themselves Roma and not Romanian.
The Kurds consider themselves Kurds and not Turks.
The Orangemen consider themselves Brits and not Irish.
I have no problems with the indigenous people. Many fought with the Brits when the Americans invaded and many fought as Canadians in WW I and WW II. Also, the Quebec Cree said they wanted to remain in Canada if Quebec voted to secede.
