Disastrous start to the Commonwealth Games

I feel sorry for India....

Canada adopts wait-and-see stance on India ’shame games’

They’re calling the upcoming India Commonwealth Games the “Shame Games,” and watching Canadian TV coverage in Vancouver this week of the soaking, muddy messes at the smelly New Delhi venue, two things come to mind:

1. It’s a good thing the U.S. isn’t involved in this fiasco; and
2. Canada, as usual, is doing its best to deal with a bad situation diplomatically and not offend the host country.

It’s too bad Hamilton, Ontario, which hosted the first modern Commonwealth Games in 1930, was beaten out by India’s capital this time, but most Canadians wouldn’t come right out and say that.................................................

Some guys who posted on this thread proved that they are idiot . If you want me to ban than 80% users who write reviews will be ban too as they are racist as they say that xyz SP was bad, smelly, did not washed well, don't know how do bbj, low/high mileage, was not beautiful, whore, bitch etc. - Does it mean they are racist? comeone give me break. Forum is full of these type of comments but no one said racist.

Fact is if someone talk that Indians are eating our manufactuing & IT jobs, then Indian guys on this forum show up by attaching others. If you love that much, why you are here in this part of world. It's okay to accept that India could not prepare for these games in 7 yrs and can't compete CHINA in next 50 yrs.

He did not say certain xyz SP was smelly. He said ALL INDIAN women are smelly.

It's culture in area to not use toilets, don't worry...

Not surprising is it really. Graft payoffs backroom dealings during the bid process. Shoddy workmanship by construction crews etc. More than likely not up to codes IF they have ANY in India.

I say keep our athletes HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is NOT the Olympics where the world is watching.

I say keep our athletes HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is NOT the Olympics where the world is watching.

Unfortunately, for some athletes this is their Olympics and to lose the opportunity to perform will unfairly penalize them.
