The cons don't have anyone more compelling than Timmy. That's kind of sad.

Hudak has absolutely no principles and says whatever he thinks will get him elected. He is spineless idiot.
thats true. but how does that make different from mcguinty, wynne, chow or any other poltician on this planet?

I think most politicians do believe in their platforms. I am pretty sure that Rob Ford really does believe in cutting costs. I am pretty sure that Olivia Chow really does believe in helping the disadvantaged. I think most people in the Conservative and Liberal parties believe in at least some of the things their party stands for. Stephen Harper seems like quite a principled person who actually believes in most of the policies that he has implemented. Most politicians do. I am sure that they all over-promise and pick up wedge issues for political reasons--but I think at the core, most of them do stand for something.

With Hudak, I don't think he believes in anything. I think he is a shallow, self-promoting, stupid man.

Not that it's true for all but almost every woman I've asked can't stand Hudak. There's no way McGuinty should have won a 3rd election. 8 years is more than enough time for the electorate to build a hate for the incumbent. The PC's have not run a good campaign since '99

The PC's need to move on from the Mike Harris ideology and put forward an inclusive, modern conservative candidate.

I agree it's time for change, but really, is Hudak really the best and the brightest the Ontario PC's can find?

A dead cat could beat the Liberals, but Hudak may not be able to.

Very true, but that's the problem. We as taxpayers deserve better and there doesn't seem to be anything better, from any party, on the horizon.
