As is often the case when there is a windows update it knocks out the printer drivers and I have to re-install the printer and drivers.
On this occasion I am running into a problem.
I usually follow the steps on this you tube video successfully (please see link) I get to 4:25 of the video where it asks me to choose a printer port and he states to click on USB001 (virtual printer port for USB ) but I do not get that option. Is there another choice I can use? My printer has always been hooked up to my Asus laptop via USB wire. If someone can suggest a more effective way to re-install the printer I would appreciate it.
Lastly when I am re-installing the printer to the laptop should the USB wire be connected to the laptop or not the below video says no.
