I dunno what you mean by rich, but I guess I am rich enough to go overseas and bang a different hottie everyday for most of the rest of my life so I guess that is good enough for me.
According to the people who know these things, the best way to get rich is to pick the right parents.
If you did not do that, then the second best way is to marry someone who did.
Very few people get rich by working for somebody else. It's better to be the captain of your own ship.
I did pick the right parents, but it was not smooth sailing. I have siblings, and we did not always see eye to eye. There was litigation involved. Politics makes for strange bedfellows. I have also learned first hand that ethics and morality are often fluid things.
Spoiler alert- He talks about seeing the future, and other interesting things. It's a good, short read.
And another thing. Charles Darwin has famously said- The most successful animal is not always the smartest, or the fastest. The most successful is the most adaptable.
This has altered my thinking ever since I first read it. This quote is not verbatim
Dude, you gotta try it, Ew is the homophobe in you repressing the discomfort of your homosexuality liking the idea. That's right brah, Ew means you're gay, good old internal conflict, who knew?
I put on some music, lit a fire, uncorked a nice Shiraz, you know create a nice ambiance, I looked at my cock and I was like, hey? so you come here often? And we really hit it off.
It seems like living frugally and driving a modest vehicle is the best way to end up rich. From men in my circle, the main ways I have watched them go broke/lose their wealth are: 1) divorce and 2) expensive vehicles. I have a good friend who has been making $200,000.00 a year for the better part of the last 20 years, and he is essentially bankrupt (despite being single and never married). He did this through a combination of buying very expensive guns (the redneck equivalent of collecting rare pokemon) and switching $100,000 vehicles on a ongoing basis.
I do not run in elite social circles, but the people I personally know who are millionaires/multimillonaires all drive non-luxury vehicles and don't wear expensive clothing/jewelry.

This guy has issues. I remember hearing from a therapist years ago that when people get something they feel they don't deserve, they punish themselves. Or they do other things to somehow undo their good fortune.
