The issue is at either extreme there is consensus (Cindy Crawford isn't ugly and Oprah Winfrey isn't beautiful), however, all of the in between is in the eye of the beholder. If I have the thing for redheads and freckles versus someone who does not, then obviously the ratings will differ. If you can find a fellow terbite who has the same preferences as you in an SP, then perhaps it won't be much of a variance.

I find that many women (myself included) can look like an 8 one day and a 6 on another day....This can be due to fatigue or stress or maybe it's just aging - it never seemed to be like that when I was 19, lol.
True.

Just because she was compared to Tila Tequila doesnt mean she's a look alike. People get compared to celebs that they look nothing like all the time. its possible that the only thing they have in common is the fact that they're the same race. which happens alot with asians. people have told me i look like tila especially when i had blonde hair and i know thats total crap, because i don't. And also you cant really expect an SP to look as good as a celeb whos pics have to been air brushed to no end and have professional hair and makeup artists to make them look that way. not to mention plasric surgery etc etc
About 60% reviews are useless using cel'b of same race while lookwise they've nothing in common.

For the before & after look, those infommericals with the acne & facial creams would give you an idea how much airbrushing & pro-makeup can turn her into goddess. Without it, many wouldn't get a 2nd look.

I guess it's not worth the time to build out.

I was just trying to think of a way to effectively describe an SPs looks without adding too much subjectivity.

Other than taking a picture of the SP, I thought comparing the looks (specifically the face) to someone would bring more objectivity.
Maybe the idea of using celebs isn't good since they are made to look good.

However, I'm sure there are a lot of celebs that aren't pretty too.

My thought is that by linking to a 'celeb's' photo, it would allow the reader to judge the looks and decide whether the sp is for them.

But judging by the reactions, I guess people do not like this idea...
Or somehow are offended by it...

Oh well...

But using a celeb to compare should remove the need to rate the face.

So instead of saying, SP 1 is a 7/10.
Saying SP 1 looks like Cindy Crawford.

Then the reader of the review can then say..
I like Cindy's looks, I'm going to book.
Another reader can say, "Cindy's not really for me, I'll look for another."
