How to have safe sex?

When seeing a SP, how can you ensure that the sex is safe? Here is what I think, please add to the list if I am missing something.

1. No Kissing,
2. CBJ and
3. Covered SOG.

Is that safe enough? Or there is something else I need to consider?

I do not have the book in front of me but I have read that light kissing is fine. Just make sure that you do not have any open sores (cold sores), don't floss the day before and keep it as dry as possible. If need be I can find the sources.
