You know what they say, Anya? That teenagers have the most disposable income because, they presumably live at home so they have no living or eating expenses and many of them have parents who buy them their clothing. Therefore, it only stands to reason that whatever money they make at a part-time job (or in some cases from selling pot) they can blow (pardon the pun) on whatever they want.
I would agree to with the advent of the internet more and more teenagers are becoming aware of the business.
The weirdest situation I ever had was when a teenager called me to book an appointment and said that his Dad (purportedly a client) had recommended me. Felt a little weird so I declined. Often wondered if the recommendation was true!

Once got called with another girl to a double-date at a hotel, and our clients were two boys on a school trip from another province, couldn't have been more than 16 or 17. When we arrived they still had on their school uniforms. Heheh, cute. Wonder if it was private school or Catholic school?
