How often are women afraid in public?

Typical thread on here where a guy asks women a question and all but one or two posts is by a guy who knows better than any woman ever would. There's a sameness to some of these threads.

I live in a very safe city so not really often. I avoid unsafe neighborhoods but I think men do too.

I don’t think I can give an objective answer to this question given my profession. It’s basically my job to meet strangers and trust that they won’t hurt me. If I was afraid, I wouldn’t do it.
