I shave the base of the shaft, the balls, and behind the balls. The rest I keep neatly trimmed.

Has anyone ever tried anything like Nair?

Doesn't Nair have the ability to burn? <Grooverider...getting...lightheaded>

For us middle aged guys, its just a matter of pulling out the gray hairs as they appear. In a couple of more years, it will be the same thing as shaving.

A battery powered trimmer.
Balls and the base of the shaft.
Almost as smooth as shaving, but no irritation.
Wife and girlfriend like it.

Dry shave everyday....gillete mach 3, never nick myself anymore, can even do it while brushing my teeth with my other hand.

Well that's just showing off now . Do you go with or against the grain? Hot towel first?
